Denim List of terms
Acid Wash- process of soaking pumice stones in chlorine and letting these stones create contrast - the denim is given a specific mildly bleached appearance.
Hand Sanding: Sand paper is used to physically sand the jeans by brushing the sandpaper across areas of the jean with the desired pattern , making them look old and worn out.
Inseam - The seam length on the inside of the leg (eg. 30" inseam for use short people)
Rise - Measure from the top of the waisitband to the bottom of the crotch. As a general rule low rise sits 2" or more below the belly button. A regular rise sits just below the belly button and a high rise sits at or above the belly button.
Stone Wash a type of wash where jeans are abraded with stones for a more worn in look.
Whiskers- The creases /folds naturally sppearing on the front of your jeans;
